The PanBlast¢â Wire Coil De-Scaler is designed to de-scale all types and sizes of steel wire while still in the coil form. Blasting of wire coils prior to drawing/forming assists in maximising the life of the tooling, as well as overcoming all the inherent problems involved with acid dipping, such as disposal of the waste product.

The coils are loaded onto the arbour by forklift cage or pole, and once the door is closed, the arbour rotates the coil in the blast stream.

Available with either 1 or 2 arbour/work door assemblies, the PanBlast¢â Coil De-Scaler can process up to 16 tonnes of coil per hour depending on coil size and type. When fitted with 2 doors, the operator can load one arbour while the other is being blasted.

Hydraulic operation of the arbours and doors ensures smooth, trouble free operation, and the entire operation is automatic, allowing the machine to be controlled by only one operator.

The PanBlast¢â Wire Coil De-Scaling system is ideally suited to batch blasting applications, and can blast wire diameters as small as 6mm, depending on the type of material.

The abrasive airwash separator fitted with the optional electro / pneumatically controlled abrasive metering gate.
This features ensures that the abrasive curtain in the airwash is always at full width, maximising the separators efficiency.
