PanBlast¢â
blast and paint facilities provide the capacity to
both blast and paint in the one room.
The facility features both an abrasive reclamation
system and a paint fume ventilation system, which operate
completely independent of each other.
While in blasting mode, either a waffle floor or mechanical
recovery system reclaims the spent abrasive. Upon completion
of blasting of the component, the abrasive recovery
system is shut down and the paint fume extraction system
activated, painting may then commence.
Calibrated probes detect excessive gas levels in the
facility, and shut down all operations should predetermined
gas levels be exceeded.
The
blast and paint facility arrangement is ideally suited
for large fabrications, overcoming the need to re-locate
large or awkward components from the blast area to
the paint booth.
In some instances, either steam or gas fired heating
systems are incorporated into the rooms, to reduce
coating curing times, and therefore improve throughput.
